General Information
Leather carving entails using metal implements to compress moistened leather in such a way as to give a 3 dimensional appearance to a 2 dimensional surface.

Leather carving is cutting a design into the leather while it's damp, with a swivel knife. 

Saddle stamps are used to fill in the details of the design and to stamp down the background.  Carving produces a beautiful 3 dimensional effect on the leather.
2025 New Member Dues:
  • $40.00 to join ($15 dues, $25 Classes & supplies)

Membership runs from:
  • January 1st - December 31st  each year
  • All members are required to monitor 4 times each year to maintain membership in the club and to particiapte in classes & receive the numerous benefits the club offers.

  • 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM -  when there is a monitor
  • Monitors are required at all times & all members must monitor as required
              
  • ​2 people must be present in order to keep the room open


The club may be open on Saturdays, if there are two members who wish to work in the clubroom.  Monitoring credit will only be applied for completing a 2 hour (or more) session.
The monitor is required to obtain and return the key, as well as attend to all monitor duties.
